Technological advances mean that even people in remote areas can connect with doctors and receive quality treatment, improving healthcare access for everyone.The MSF Telemedicine Programme is a key part of this shift, enabling our staff in isolated areas to consult with specialists worldwide.
In 2023, 276 MSF projects in 46 countries tapped into the platform, with over 4,898 requests for specialist advice sent. Teams in Sierra Leone, Syria and Kyrgyzstan were among the top users, reflecting the programme’s vital role in diverse, high-need areas.
